Offering a wide variety of classes for the beginning dancer to the pre-professional
Welcome to Turning Pointe Academy of Dance. We are conveniently located at 2492 Technology Drive in Elgin, minutes from the intersection of Randall Road and I90, and walking distance from many restaurants and shops.
We offer classes for the recreational dancer to the intensive dancer, from preschool to adult. Classes include Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary and Musical Theater Dance. We also offer Yoga.
Our Story
Our Studio features 2 beautiful dance rooms equipped with sprung marley floors (the latest in dance surfaces, important for joint health and non-slip performance, and excellent for tap dancing as well). Both rooms feature cameras inside and flat panel monitors outside for viewing your child’s class. We also feature a reasonably priced online studio store to conveniently shop for shoes and attire for your dancer (in studio sizing kits will enable you to order the correct size).
Our staff consists of knowledgeable, highly qualified, and experienced instructors and dance professionals. We are passionate about teaching and sharing our love of dance. We strive to bring out the best in every student, while keeping dance class enjoyable… A place where students look forward to coming each week!
